Video: Stranger Slashes Woman As She Walks Down Bed-Stuy Sidewalk

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Cops are searching for a man who slashed a woman in the back of the head in a seemingly-unprovoked attack in Bed-Stuy.

The man was caught on video taking out an unknown object and reaching out and cutting the woman as she walked by him on the sidewalk on the corner of Fulton Street and Franklin Avenue, according to police and video.

The man continued to walk down the sidewalk as the 24-year-old woman grabs her head and turns to look at him, according to the video.

She was later taken to Kings County Hospital with a deep laceration and is in stable condition, police said.

Police described the man as being approximately 48 to 50 years old, 5' 10" tall, 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black coat, a blue sweatshirt and blue sweatpants.
