Virtual Vigil Honors First Responders Who Died From Coronavirus
The Monday evening vigil will unfold as at least seven NYPD officers have died and about 2,000 have tested positive for the new coronavirus.

But this one will unfold as the city's coronavirus cases multiply by the thousands every day and officials see signs the outbreak is straining hospitals to near breaking.
