BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN -- Now is the time to decide whether Bed-Stuy needs a new dog park or a better community center.

Bed-Stuy City Councilman Robert Cornegy (incidentally the world's tallest politician) is asking constituents to vote this week on one of five proposed projects to receive city funds through Participatory Budgeting.

District 36 residents have until April 7 to pick a project through the Cycle 8 of the program, which allows residents to decide how to spend $35 million in capital funding.
