One reviewer says: “The kale salad was great. I honestly never tried kale and had heard so much good and bad things about it, but this salad made me a fan. It had a great dressing already on it, which I think sealed the deal. - Bria A.
Fancy Nancy, 1038 Bedford Ave.
One reviewer says: "Yay: The pressed chicken with ginger and scallion is amazing. This was my favorite. It even had kale and ginger jasmine rice. Weird sweet potato nacho-y dish was weird, but good. Pork belly dish over lentils was very delicious, though unconventional." - Joni T.
The Trade Union Cafe, 346 Malcolm X Blvd.
One reviewer says: "Great vibe, spacious, airy, and cool for dining in or getting some work done on your laptop. The owner and staff are pleasant. I've had the kale and egg sandwich, home fries, and breakfast platter, all of which were delicious...very flavorful. It's really nice to have a place like this in the neighborhood - definitely check it out!" - Tara J.
Bread Love, 1933 Fulton St.
One reviewer says: “The Mrs and I had burgers, hers turkey and mine beef (gasp) cooked to perfection. The accompanying veggies were the 1st thing you smelled upon opening up the platter fresh like they just pulled out the ground and sliced them for your meal, huge bingo.. The kale salad was bomb.” - Niikai W.
Peaches HotHouse, 415 Tompkins Ave.
One reviewer says: “I love Peaches HotHouse. It is my favorite restaurant out of all the restaurants that they have. Fried chicken is totally the best. If you don't know anything about pepper, I suggest you stick with the mild. The chicken comes in mild, hot, and extra hot. The Kale salad and creamy grits is forever yummy. The Billy Holiday drink will have you singing. It's a small and quaint joint.. it ok da makes you feel your not in Brooklyn anymore but somewhere in the south. Love this place!!!” - Moni T.
