Woman In Suspected Sex Payment Murder Held Without Bail
Nicole Waiters, 48, will appear Thursday in court on a murder charge. She has been arrested 46 times in the past, according to reports.

PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDEN, BROOKLYN — The woman suspected of killing an 85-year-old Prospect Lefferts man over a sexual payment dispute found there's no price tag for her freedom.
A judge denied bail to Nicole Waiters, 48, on Saturday, according to jail records and reports. She'll remain in jail at least until Thursday when she has a hearing on a murder change.
Police believe Waiters stabbed Edill Gonzalez, 85, during an argument Jan. 22 in Gonzalez's Lefferts Avenue and Balfour Place apartment. The pair had fought over sex or payment for sex, police previously said.

Gonzalez was stabbed several times and died at a Kings County hospital, authorities said.
Waiters quickly came under scrutiny. She has 46 prior arrests going back to 1987 and authorities believe she had a long-running "on and off" relationship with Gonzalez, the New York Post reported.

Gonzalez's murder isn't the only current violent criminal case facing Waiters. She faces multiple assault charges in a Bronx court case from Jan. 6, according to records.
Waiters is suspected of stabbing a man in that case, but prosecutors didn't ask for bail because authorities needed to figure out who sparked the fight, the Post reported. She was released until police arrested her after Gonzalez's death.
