Bedford Hills trailed in this game 4-0, but they never quit. Instead, they started chipping away at the lead scoring two runs in the third inning with the help of an Alex Curro triple and a Dillon Medd sacrifice fly.

North Salem bounced back with a homer in the top of the fourth by Adam Bitondo, only to be matched by a home run in the bottom of that inning by BHK's Nick Sapone.

After another home run by North Salem in the top of the fifth, Bedford Hills began to make it's charge.

Kevin Ackerman started the inning with a walk, which was quickly followed by an Alex Curro double scoring Ackerman. Dillon Medd followed with a walk, setting the table for Bedford Hills leading home run hitter Alex Olsen.

In Olsen's previous at bat he sent center fielder John Finnegan to the base of the wall falling just short of putting it out. He was determined not to leave this one in doubt. On an 0-1 pitch Olsen connected a long home run putting Bedford Hills up in the game for good, but not without a fight.

With two outs and the tying and go ahead runs on second and third North Salem had one more shot.  On a 3-1 count, Medd bounced a curveball to the backstop.  Medd covered the plate while catcher Jacob Preizler darted quickly for the ball.  On a great timing play by both players, Medd was able to tag out the runner before he was able to make it home clinching the BHK victory in what was a very exciting game.

This victory capped a 19-2 season for Bedford Hills filled with many memorable events.  The team's success is attributed to consistent team play, and their ability to overcome adversity.
