Bedford resident Dr. Ezriel E. Kornel, a neurosurgeon with Brain & Spine Surgeons of New York in White Plains, has been named a “U.S. News Top Doctor” by U.S. News & World Report.
Dr. Kornel is medical director of the Institute for Neurosciences at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, NY and is affiliated with eight other hospitals in the metropolitan New York region. He is a board member and past president of the New York State Neurosurgical Society, a New York delegate to the Council of State Neurosurgical Societies, and serves on the board of directors of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. In addition, Dr. Kornel is the host of “Back Talk Live!” a call-in medical show on WOR-AM 710 devoted to back and neck pain, and issues pertaining to the brain.
The U.S. News Top Doctor designation is one of several honors Dr. Kornel has recently received. Dr. Kornel was also named a Top Doctor by New York Magazine, Westchester Magazine andBecker’s Orthopedic and Spine Review.
