A number of commenters on the Facebook page also called for DeCicco's to expand to Chappaqua, which has not had a major grocery store since D'Agostino left in 2011.

Construction continues at Armonk Square, which will be a mixed-use complex. The site is 3.4 acres, data provided for North Castle's 2011 approval of the site plan show, with DeCicco's slated for a space of more than 20,000 square feet. Ten housing units are also planned, taking up more than 10,000 square feet. Also included are more than 12,700 square feet of other retail space. Among the planned retail occupants is Fortina, which calls itself a "casual wood-fired pizza joint coming soon to Armonk Square."
