John Jay's baseball squad was hitting on all cylinders in its 14-5 triumph against visiting Kennedy Catholic April 10 according to Vincent Mercogliano's comprehensive post on the LoHud Baseball Blog.
John Jay's Tyler Keech went 3 for 4 with two doubles, a home run and six RBI. Teammate Robert Malara was a perfect 4 for 4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored.

Will Jahn earned the win, pitching 5.2 innings, while allowing seven hits and two earned runs with five strikeouts.
Foxes Baseball
In a battle of last year's Section 1 Class AA championship game participants, Fox Lane fell to visiting R.C. Ketcham 13-8 on April 10.
Fox Lane left fielder Jackson Kushner had a big game for the Foxes, going 4 for 4 with two runs scored, two doubles and two RBI according to Mercogliano (see his above post).
Fox Lane Softball
Fox Lane defeated visiting Pleasantville 7-5 on April 10.
Fox Lane's Alexis Bazo went 3 for 3 with two runs and an RBI while teammates Christie Lombardi and Isabella Rago each registered two ribbies apiece as per Rob Cristino's post on the LoHud Softball Blog.
