Bedford Hills Prison Nurse Arrested For Rape Of Inmate: NYSP
The 54-year-old Connecticut man is charged with felony rape in the third degree and has been released on his own recognizance.
BEDFORD, NY — An investigation into a sexual assault at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility has led to the arrest of a nurse employed at the prison.
The New York State Police said that on Wednesday, working with the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (NYS DOCCS), and the Westchester County District Attorney's Officer, they arrested 54-year-old Michael Adeleke, of Waterbury, Connecticut, for felony rape in the third degree.

In September, NYS DOCCS officials at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility reported a sexual assault to the state police. An investigation led authorities to believe that Adeleke raped an inmate.
He was arraigned in the Town of Bedford court and released on his own recognizance to reappear before the court on March 15.
