On Friday, March 30th the Harvey B side defeated the B side from New Rochelle High School, 27-19. It was a great performance for the B side of the Cavaliers, as they came away with their first victory of the 2012 season.

Harvey started the game off camped out deep inside New Rochelle territory. Fly-half Christian Artuso kicked the first points of the day for Harvey from a penalty in front of the goal posts. In the 30th minute of the first half, Jay Shallo powered through some tacklers to score Harvey’s first try of the day, which was successfully converted by Artuso.
New Rochelle turned up the pressure at the end of the first half, which led to them scoring just before half. The score at half-time was Harvey 10, New Rochelle 5.
In the second half strong running from Luke Apalato and Connor McDonald combined for three tries, while the Harvey defense limited New Rochelle to two tries. Harvey saw standout performances from Matt Abt, Mike Meehan and Christian Artuso.
Duo Leads John Jay
John Jay's Lauren Murray registered four goals and two assists with teammate Kelsey Davey recording four goals and three assists in the Indians' 15-9 triumph Monday afternoon at Horace Greeley according to Yaron Weitzman's post on the LoHud Girls Lacrosse Blog.
Jay Nine Win
John Jay's baseball squad came away with a big 13-2 triumph against visiting Horace Greeley on March 30.
Senior Evan O’Connor earned the win on the mound by giving up just two earned runs in six innings pitched.
