Bedford Police Department Seeking School Crossing Guards

Working hours are approximately 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., then 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Compensation is $30 per day.

BEDFORD, NY — It's almost that time and the Bedford Police Department is back-to-school shopping for a few new crossing guards to help start the year off on the right foot.

With the new school year beginning next month, the Bedford Police Department is looking to hire part-time school crossing guards to help ensure the safety of elementary school students.

Working hours are approximately 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., then 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Compensation is $30 per day.

According to the job description posted by Bedford police, they are looking for responsible adults to assist school children while crossing traffic intersections around Bedford Hills Elementary School.
