Bedford/Pound Ridge Cub Scouts Pack 170 and TRACKS

Bedford/Pound Ridge Cub Scouts Pack 170 recently met with Joseph Streany, Director of Field Safety and Investigations, System Safety of the MTA. Jami’s presentation of TRACKS (Together Railroads and Communities Keeping Safe) aimed at teaching safety at and around railroad crossings and tracks.
The program was well received by the pack. Since only a handful of boys have been on trains, the timing was right to hear about the important safety message. At the conclusion of the presentation, each boy accepted a challenge coin to be safe when on and near trains.
Pack 170 is still offering enrollment to boys in grades K-5. If you are interested, their next open meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 8th. Please send an email to info@newyorkscouts.com for more information.
