Bedford-Pound Ridge Pack 170 Cub Scouts Recognize National Police Memorial Week

On May 5, 2018, the Bedford-Pound Ridge Pack 170 Cub Scouts recognized National Police Memorial Week and remembered Bedford Sgt. Thomas Wade who made the ultimate sacrifice on May 9, 1925 in the line of duty.

Scouts presented thank you cards to New York State Trooper Meredith Govoni, K9 Lexi, New York State Trooper John Brody, K9 Rence, Bedford Police Department Private Officer Doug Romero, Private Officer Frank, Westchester Co. Officer Frank Pagliuca, K9 Flora, Sgt. Chuck Schroedel, Specialist Joanne Clark, U.S. Army Military Police: Kevin Galvin, Ed Walsh, Mike Tozzi, Fraternal Order of Police and Det. William McCormack NYPD (organizer of service).

Bedford Town Board Supervisor Chris Burdick, Dep. Supervisor Lee Roberts, Don Scott, Mary Ann Carr and Co. Leg. Kitty Covill were present as well.
