Bedford School Bus Driver Arrested For Sexual Contact With 11YO
Police said there had been at least one previous sexual encounter.

BEDFORD, NY — A bus driver for the Bedford Central School District was arraigned Saturday on charges that he had sexual contact with a minor and had also sent her sexually explicit text messages and images.
Brayan Moscoso Arias, 22, of Peaceable Hill Road in Brewster, was arrested by Westchester County Police on Friday night and charged with first-degree sexual abuse and disseminating indecent material to a minor, both felonies. He was held overnight and arraigned Saturday in Mount Kisco Justice Court before Justice Mark F. Farrell.
His bail was set at $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond. Arias was being held at the Westchester County Jail in Valhalla in lieu of bail. He is scheduled to appear next in village court May 10.

In addition, the judge issued a temporary restraining order that bars Arias from having any contact with the victim.
The arrest came after Westchester County police officers assigned to the Mount Kisco precinct received information that Arias was going to meet the girl Friday for a sexual encounter. Detectives placed the location under surveillance and took Arias into custody when he arrived to meet the girl in a parking lot in the village’s downtown shopping district about 11 p.m.

Detectives had notified the victim’s mother of the situation earlier that evening and the girl was not present when Arias was arrested.
The crimes Arias was charged with are from incidents that occurred prior to Friday night.
