Bedford Spring Egg Hunts For 2022 Might Make Kids Of Us All
Two "over easy" Bedford spring egg hunts are planned, one in the daytime for kids 2-10 & one at night for older egg hunters in grades 4-7.

BEDFORD/KATONAH, NY — Spring is here and that means it's almost time for a returning holiday tradition. Two egg hunts sponsored by the Town of Bedford Recreation and Parks Department will take place on the best lawns in town.
Update: The Spring Egg Hunt originally taking place on April 12, has been postponed to the rain date of April 14 at the Fox Lane High School Turf Field.
Bedford's Annual Spring Egg Hunt has been rescheduled to the rain date of April 14, when families will have the opportunity to visit with the "Spring Bunny" and enjoy some entertainment. 8000 plastic eggs will be scattered across the fields at the Fox Lane High School Turf Field. The children will be grouped into different areas by age (2-5, 6-7 and 8-10). The Egg Hunt will start at 11:15 a.m. Entertainment will start beforehand at 10:50 a.m. with a magic show and continue after the hunt is done.

Be sure to bring a basket or bag for egg collection. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Fox Lane High School Turf Field is located at 632 S. Bedford Rd. in Bedford. This event is free and no registration is required.

Older kids won't be left out of the fun since there will also be a nighttime Flashlight Egg Hunt. The day before, on Wednesday, April 13, eggs and candy will be spread all over the fields of the Bedford Village Memorial Park. This hunt is geared towards children in grades 4-7. The event will start at 8:00 p.m., with the Egg Hunt starting at 8:15 p.m.
A flashlight/headlamp and a bag will be needed for hunters to collect their finds. The Bedford Village Memorial Park is located at 65 Greenwich Rd. This event will require pre-registration and no walk-ins will be accepted. The fee is $5 for pre-registered residents and $6 for pre-registered non-residents. Registration can be done online.
