By the way, the Town Recycling Center accepts electronic waste (ewaste) from Town residents. This service reduces pollution to the environment at no cost to the Town or its residents, with the exception of CRT monitors and televisions, which can be disposed of at a fee. Click here for the EWaste Guide of what is accepted/not accepted at the Recycling Center and for the Ewaste Fee Notice for CRT TVs and monitors. CRTs are contained in older style televisions and computer monitors (the type with the large back portion, not the newer style flat televisions and computer monitors).
In order to recycle Ewaste containing CRTs, residents must complete a CRT Recycling Application and pay the appropriate fee at the Town Clerk’s Office, 321 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills, 666-4534. Payment may not be made at the Recycling Center.
