Building Inspector to Retire Next Month

The town is currently seeking candidates to fill the position.

The town's building inspector's job is now up for grabs. The town is currently looking for candidates to fill an opening created by the retirement of Building Inspector Richard Megna, at the end of February this year.

Though the town is canvassing the appropriate civil service list, it is also seeking resumes from individuals who currently hold and are working in the Building Inspector civil service title. 

The salary range is from $85,000 to $100,000 depending on experience, certifications and possible engineering license.  Those interested in applying for the position can send their resumes to Joan Gallagher, Personnel Director, 321 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills, NY  10507 no later than Feb. 15.
