WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The long arm of the Westchester County police once again proved that bad guys can run, but aren't likely to be able to hide from patrol cars, aviation support, canine units and Realtime Crime tracking.

On Tuesday, just before 6 p.m., the Real Time Crime Center reported a stolen car was traveling on Route 35 in Lewisboro. An officer in an unmarked car spotted the stolen car in Bedford and followed it onto the Saw Mill River Parkway. Once marked police cars and the Westchester Aviation Unit were in position, police attempted to stop the car at Roaring Brook Road in New Castle.

Rather than pulling over, police said the driver continued south on the Saw Mill. In Pleasantville, the driver hit another car. Four suspects bailed out of the stolen car and ran into a nearby neighborhood.
