Driver in 1-Car Crash in Lewisboro Arrested on DWI Charge

The incident occurred on Route 123.

A South Salem man was arrested on misdemeanor Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated Saturday in connection with a one-car crash on Route 123 in Lewisboro, according to state police.

Arrested was Thomas P. Larkin, 43.

State police said that after troopers were dispatched to a one-car accident involving Larkin, they found him ”to be intoxicated at the time of the crash.”

At the state police facility, Larkin supplied a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .27 percent, “more than three-times the legal limit of intoxication,” according to officials.

Larkin was released to a sober party and was issued an appearance ticket directing him to appear before the Town of Lewsiboro Court on December 7.
