UPDATE: Durst Plea Agreement Included Choosing L.A. Prison
The real estate heir will serve a sentence for a weapons charge.

UPDATE—Wednesday, April 27, 2016, 12 p.m.: Robert Durst, who will be sent back to Los Angeles for trial for the death of Susan Berman, had asked the judge to send him to Terminal Island prison.
Law Newz reported that Durst’s attorneys said his health issues could be better managed there.

A plea agreement for Westchester real estate heir Robert Durst was approved by a federal judge Wednesday.
Durst, 72, will serve 7 years and 1 month in prison for a weapons charge, according to bigstory.ap.org.
The sentence was accepted by Durst as part of his February guilty plea.
