Founded in 1994, Charis Chamber Voices is a select group of singers dedicated to presenting vocal performances of the highest quality under the direction of internationally acclaimed conductor Arthur Sjogren. The ensemble offers diverse programs ranging from intimate a capella madrigals to challenging contemporary chorales and show tunes.
Known for its distrinctive vocal blend, Charis has been cited for its "fearless approach to unfamiliar works and clear, rich sound" (NY Times, 12/5/08) and called "the finest chorus in Westchester County" (Dennis Keene, director of Voices of Ascension).
