eBird is an online bird checklist program launched by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Audubon Society. Workshop participants will learn the basic tools and features of the eBird program including submitting bird sightings, viewing, managing, and summarizing personal observation data, and viewing and exploring data in the larger eBird database. This workshop was born out of the idea that many folks may be interested in using eBird and contributing their bird sightings for science and research but feel unsure about how to use and utilize the platform to supplement their birding endeavors.
