KVL movie night features the POV documentary "Racing Dreams"

Katonah Village Library presents Racing Dreams on Wednesday July 25th at 5:30pm.  Racing Dreams, by Oscar nominated/Sundance winner filmmaker Marshall Curry, is a chronicle of two boys and a girl who do something extraordinary: They fearlessly race extreme go-karts at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour in pursuit of trophies and, just maybe, careers as NASCAR drivers. And as the youngsters compete on the track, they also navigate the treacherous road from childhood to young adulthood. This event is in collaboration with POV (Point of View) the award-winning independent non-fiction film series on PBS www.pbs.org/pov

This film is rated PG, and runs for 93 minutes. A short discussion will follow the film. This film is recommended for ages 10 and up. We provide the film, you provide your snack. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the film.  For more information: contact (914) 232-1233 or Katcr@wlsmail.org.
