Grades 6 and Up. Join us for a wacky scavenger hunt that will take participants inside and outside the library. This will be followed by a pizza party and review of our special summer activities for teens. Registration is required. Teens can also sign up at the library or online for our Summer Reading Game - "You are Here." Simply read a book or magazine or listen to an audio book, and record your reading time. You’ll earn points for what you read, and can then redeem those points for prizes at the contest’s end. Books are also raffled off weekly. This year’s grand prize is an iPod Touch, made possible through a donation from the Dextra Baldwin McGonagle Foundation. Teen readers will also be invited to participate in a “Book Crossings” program, where we tag books and then release them into the wild (coffee shops, beaches, etc.) and track their journey. Another fun weekly contest will have teens try to identify the backdrop of an "Iron Man" photographed in various Lewisboro locations.
