Join the sanctuary staff for a search of Eastern Box Turtles in the meadows of the Wildlife Management Area. Volunteers are needed to help walk the meadow in an organized grid to locate turtles so that they may be identified, recorded and released. This program is an extension of the sanctuary’s turtle monitoring project. Wear long pants. Bring water and insect repellent. For ages 8 and older.
