Evening Power Outage Expected On The East Side Of Bedford
NYSEG must repair damage found at a substation.
BEDFORD, NY — Residents on the eastern side of Bedford could find themselves without power for an hour this afternoon, Town Supervisor Ellen Z. Calves warned in an email Thursday.
NYSEG has to fix damage found this morning at the Cantitoe substation, she said.
Customers affected by the problem will be without power for 60 minutes sometime between 4 and 6 p.m.

"The affected areas in Bedford primarily include NYSEG customers east of 684. If you have any questions, please call the Supervisor’s Office at 914-864-3860," she wrote.
