Players interested in the John Jay Youth Football League can register beginning April 1 at www.jjyf.org and have up until June 30 to sign up.
This year brings changes to the league, which was started in 1975. For the first time, JJYF will not combine grades but instead have teams composed of players in a single grade.
"The new structure will allow for better player and team development," said Nick Giardina, a league representative.
Registration is open to all Katonah-Lewisboro and North Salem students in grades three through eight. Please note: John Jay Middle School is no longer supporting an eighth grade modified football team; interested eighth graders will need to register with JJYF.
For more information, please visit the league's website at www.jjyf.org.
