Fox Lane HS Seniors Want To Sit On Board Of Ed
If the proposal comes to fruition, they would be non-voting positions.

BEDFORD, NY — Fox Lane High School students want a seat at the table that makes decisions that affect them. Actually, make that two seats.
The high school’s seniors want the district’s board of education to allow two elected upperclassmen to sit in on board meetings to gain perspective and offer their thoughts, the Journal News said, though the positions would be non-voting.
Students Dylan Grant, Drew Gregory, Kevin Robare and John Townsend devised the plan during a “Public Affairs” class during the fall semester.
