Hard Hat Tours for All Ages at the Bedford Playhouse
The Bedford Playhouse will be temporarily opening its doors for "Hard Hat Tours" on Saturday 12/5 and Sunday 12/6 from 1-4 PM
The Bedford Playhouse will be temporarily opening its doors for “Hard Hat Tours” on Saturday 12/5 and Sunday 12/6 from 1-4 PM as part of the Jingle Pass Weekend in Bedford Village.
Visitors will get a glimpse of the layout for the new Playhouse. Refreshments will be provided by the generosity of Bedford Gourmet and Bedford Village Pastry. There will be an opportunity to participate in a programming survey. Sarah Long, Board Chair of the Bedford Playhouse explains, “We will draw lines that represent the rough dimensions of the three downstairs theaters, and offer guided tours. Kids and their parents will put on hard hats, grab flashlights, and tour the theater. Once in the theater spaces, they’ll be able to use chalk to pick where they want to sit, and in general, make their mark! We are so excited to be sharing this space with our many supporters.”
This will be the last chance for everyone to see the Bedford Playhouse before renovations begin in earnest at the end of January. Playhouse board members and volunteers will be on hand to give tours, answer questions, and meet their neighbors. A branded tote bag will be available for purchase.
