Harlem Line Tragedy: Mount Kisco Man to Sue
He was a passenger on the commuter train Feb. 3 when six people died.

A Mount Kisco man who was riding the commuter train involved in the crash that killed six last month is suing Metro North, according to news reports.
Michael Colquhoun suffered an arm injury and post traumatic stress, and his lawyer has filed a notice of claim, asking for $10 million, Fios1 News reported.
An SUV on a grade crossing in Mount Pleasant was struck by a northbound express train Feb 3. As the train pushed the car up the tracks more than 400 feet of the electrified third rail sliced upward through the car and into the train.

According to The Journal News, Colquhoun, 55, is working—and back to commuting on Metro North. His attorney Attorney Robert Vilensky cited negligence and carelessness, both about the third rail and the fact that more safety mechanisms had been proposed for that crossing but not installed.
