Harvey’s Champion Lacrosse Team Nets Honors for Hickey and his Coaches

We thank the Harvey Communications department for the below submission and congratulate the award-winners on their well deserving honors:

Katonah - Three members of The Harvey School’s HVAL lacrosse champions have received prestigious league honors.

Hickey All-American

Senior midfielder Brandon Hickey has been selected as a Division III Western New England Preparatory School Lacrosse Association All-American. It was Hickey’s tie-breaking goal with nine seconds left that gave Harvey the HVAL championship against WNEPSLA Division II powerhouse South Kent and earned the Cavaliers a bid to play in the New England Divisions II and III small schools tournament.

Coaches Honored

Harvey’s head coach Jason Hill has been named Coach of the Year while his assistant, Mike Barefield has earned recognition as Assistant Coach of the Year by the league. Harvey, by virtue of its success in the HVAL playoffs, has been crowned the Division III champion.
