Harvey School's Volleyball Team Loses in HVAL Playoffs

The Katonah-based school's varsity team lost to Chase in Waterbury.

Harvey Volleyball Ousted in HVAL Semi-Final

Harvey’s varsity volleyball team was swept out of the HVAL playoffs Wednesday when the league’s top team, Chase Collegiate won all three games.

Harvey played well but lost to a very strong Chase team on its home court in Waterbury, Connecticut by scores of 25-12, 25-17 and 25-9.

Anna Ketner and Emily Sirota did a good job of setting for Harvey while Ariana Weaver and Ketner did the middle hitting and blocking. Sasha Fox of Chappaqua, Mount Kisco’s Lindsay Cardaci and Carly Kaplan rounded out the offense while Rebecca Tuteur and South Salem’s Claudia Smith helped with the defense.

Despite the loss, Harvey’s volleyball completed the year with a final record of 7-6, its best record to date.
