Twenty runs in the opening three innings allowed Harvey to easily put away Marvelwood.  An RBI single by Jessica Harrington and an RBI double by Jasmine Brouwer in the first inning got the offense going from the start. Harvey exploded in the second inning with a Brittany Sullivan three-run double, a bases loaded walk by Lauren Suna, RBI singles by Kimberly Bernstein, Jessica Harrington, and Jasmine Brouwer.  Bernstein did more damage later in the inning when she slugged a three-run homer.

Harrington and Bernstein each had two stolen bases while Shannon O’Connor, Grace Tow, Erica Cheyne, Lauren Suna, Tessa Knorr and Julia Slater each had one.

“Seventh grader Hannah Paul’s first appearance for the varsity team was superb,” said Coach Amie Phillips. She pitched all five innings of the game and was responsible for 15 outs in the game.
