Important Groups Endorse Bittker for Bedford Town Board
Bittker, Running as Part of the 2019 Bedford Team, Also Backed by Democratic, Independence & Working Families Parties.

A group of important organizations have endorsed Bobbi Bittker for election to the Bedford Town Board, adding to her previous backing by the Democratic, Independence and Working Families parties. Bittker is running as part of the 2019 Bedford Team, along with Ellen Calves (Town Board) Chris Burdick (Town Supervisor) and Kitley Covill (County Legislature).
"I’m honored to have the support of these key local activist groups who recognize the role of local government in protecting our democracy and are working to improve the quality of life for all residents,” says Bittker. “Democratic, value-based factors are woven throughout local government decisions including fair, affordable housing, climate action, and other vital policies and programs”.

Hudson Valley Stonewall Democrats: LGBTQ Democrats and allies in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Orange Counties that advocate for legislation that guarantees equality and fairness for the LGBTQ community.
Southern Westchester Action Committee: A diverse group of grassroots Westchester residents, including community leaders, labor union activists, parents, and religious leaders working to improve the County and its local communities through increased civic engagement and electoral participation, bringing new voices and new energy to local elections and local government.

Trailblazers PAC: The nonpartisan organization supporting local candidates who fully disclose their campaign finances.
Up2us - Seeks to ensure equality for everyone and protection of their rights and resources. Up2us supports and elects democrats in races from the local to federal level by educating, organizing and getting out the vote.
Vote Mama: Supports Democratic moms with young children running for office up and down the ballot and across the country.
Additional endorsements will be announced by Bittker’s campaign in the coming weeks.
Starting next month for the first time, registered voters throughout Westchester County will have an additional nine days to cast their ballot, starting on October 26 and leading up to Election Day on November 5. Early voting details are available from the Westchester County Board of Elections.
