NORTH SALEM, NY — State police in Troop K said they removed 28 impaired drivers from public roadways over the July 4 weekend. Among them was an arrest in North Salem.
On July 5, State police from SP Hawthorne arrested Lenny Reyes, 23, of Woodhaven, NY, for Aggravated DWI with a prior conviction, a class E felony. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of North Salem, when he was involved in a one car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police said.
