K-9 Tracks Down Wanted Man Buried in Snow

The incident started in Westchester and ended in Ridgefield, Conn.

A Miami man was arrested by Ridgefield Police on Saturday after he drove into Ridgefield following a police pursuit with Westchester police, the Ridgefield Press reports.

Police realized that Antony Vincent, 28 was wanted on a felony charge from 2006 for which he never appeared in court.

According to the publication, after searching the area for Vincent’s car, it was found in the driveway of a Mead Ridge Road home, however Vincent was nowhere to be found. Police used K-9 Loki, who found Vincent buried in the snow about a quarter of a mile from his car. He was found with 3.5 grams of cocaine, 25 grams of marijuana and a switchblade knife.

Vincent was charged with interfering with the duties of a police officer, failure to appear, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a dangerous weapon, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell, possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to sell.

After posting his bond, he was released to Connecticut State Police, who had a warrant for his arrest.
