Letter To The Editor: Julie Killian For 37th Senate District
Killian is the Republican candidate for the state Senate seat vacated by George Latimer.

Julie Killian is running for State Senate in the April 24 Special Election. Westchester needs a true advocate in Albany and I believe that Julie is that person. Julie is furious, as I am, at the poor state-level response to the utility companies after these back-to-back storms.
They told us after Superstorm Sandy that this would not happen again, yet here we are! Julie has teamed-up with Sen. Terrence Murphy and supports the hearings he will convene to demand answers from the Public Service Commission. Julie has made it clear that, if elected, follow-up on storm response will be a priority for her.
But Julie has a lot on her plate: She wants to change the school aid formula and move Medicaid costs back to the state level; that would lower our property taxes. She has pledged to fight for term limits and to ferret out corruption and find ways to reform Albany. We can all get behind these ideas.

Julie is smart and accomplished and is a new voice with a fresh perspective – exactly what we need in Albany!
We must get out and vote for Julie Killian on April 24.
