Locals Find Lawn Chairs, Stuffed Tiger, VHS Tapes at Katonah Rummage Sale
Scores of items are for sale.
The bargains are plentiful at the First Presbyterian Church of Katonah's rummage sale, which is happening now through Saturday.
Edward Regula of Pound Ridge walked away Wednesday with "a good deal"–three VHS tapes and a pullover shirt for $4. He was in the market for a bird feeder, but had no such luck.
But Bedford Hills resident Lisa Campbell found exactly what she was looking for, and more. Hoping to get her hands on some outdoor furniture, Campbell purchased several lawn chairs she plans to spruce up with a fresh coat of paint. She also snagged a London Fog trenchcoat.

Some folks were shopping for others. Jason Klatsky, who moved to Katonah in February, stopped by with a friend. They picked up a stuffed tiger for his 14-month-old son, Dean.
The goal of the event, according to the church's website, is to have fun, strengthen the church family, serve the community and support missions. For more information on sale hours, click here.
