LWV Offers 'Fact Or Fake' Media-In-Politics Workshop
The discussion will address the state of media and how technology has affected the changing political environment like never before.

SOUTH SALEM, NY — The League of Women Voters of Westchester will bring a timely workshop to the Lewisboro Library on Sept. 15. Fact or Fake? Exploring the Role of the Media in Politics will address the state of media in the current political environment.
Throughout the 90-minute session, which will run from 2 to 3:30 p.m., presentation and group discussions led by volunteers from the LWV will include media biases, spotting fake news, different ways to access news, and the benefits of a comprehensive media diet.
The program will also discuss how technology has influenced the changing political environment like never before.

The workshop will be led by Eileen Nadelson, president of the League of Women Voters of North East Westchester (LWVNEW).
“We encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in this non-partisan, highly-relevant workshop,” said Nadelson.
