The Bedford resident said the replica of her art project from "camp" could lend "a little street cred" to your Christmas.

BEDFORD, NY — It's been nearly 17 years since Martha Stewart was released from the Alderson Federal Prison Camp, but her time at the correctional institution could leave a lasting legacy under the Christmas tree.

Martha Stewart is now selling a ceramic replica of the clay Nativity set she made at the white-collar prison while serving time for lying to federal officials during an insider trading investigation. Stewart made the manger scene in a pottery class she enrolled in during the five months she was incarcerated — a time Stewart affectionally refers to as being "away at camp."

The famously staid 80-year-old lifestyle guru and former inmate suggested the Nativity would make an elegant Christmas present with a "little street cred."

"I still have my number on the bottom," Stewart said in a short TikTok infomercial hawking the fruits of her time behind bars. "We decided to glaze them in white. They are beautiful."

The white-glazed, 14-piece hoosegow-inspired Nativity scene is available online for $149.
