Pet Valu Holds Grand Opening In Bedford Hills

BEDFORD HILLS, NY — A pet supplies retailer will hold its grand opening Saturday, July 22 in Bedford Hills. Pet Valu is welcoming families and their pets to the store from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for free samples, raffles, face painting and other kid-friendly entertainment.

There will be refreshments for all, including treats for four-legged attendees.

The owners said it will be an opportunity to check out the pet products and services Pet Valu is known for, such as its self-serve dog-wash stations. [Get Patch’s Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts here.]

Customers are provided all the amenities, without having to clean up.

All dog washes will be free on Saturday during the grand opening.

As part of Pet Valu’s commitment to the community, each store partners with at least one local animal shelter or group to facilitate pet adoptions and fundraising activities. A few of the area’s rescue organizations — including A New Chance and Paws Crossed — will be on site from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. to facilitate adoptions Saturday.

Pet Valu is located at 739 Bedford Road in Bedford Hills.
