Police Find 2 Bodies And A Baby In Westchester Home

Police went to the residence on Post Office Road Tuesday night.

An infant has been rescued from a home in Lewisboro where two adults were found dead. The deaths are being investigated as overdoses.

The bodies of a man and woman were found at 11 p.m. Tuesday when New York State police went to a residence on Post Office Road to conduct a welfare check. Police did not say why they were doing the check.

The baby was taken to Westchester Medical Center for evaluation.

"This unspeakable tragedy, as reported, is a sad and stark reminder that we are still in the midst of a profound opioid crisis," said New York State Sen. Pete Harckham, Chair of the Senate Committee on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse. "We need to end the stigma of Substance Use Disorder—now!—and let everyone know there is help out there, where they can feel safe and get treatment."
