Police Investigating Death of 6-week-old

NORTH SALEM, NY — State police are investigating the death of a 6-week-old infant in the Town of North Salem. On June 14, troopers responded with North Salem Ambulance and Westchester County EMS to Raymond Road in North Salem for a report of an unresponsive 6-week-old boy.

Police said the child's name was Mason J. Cowan. He was taken to Danbury Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation into the child's death is ongoing, police said.
