Robert Klein To Appear At Schoolhouse Theater
He will be appearing for one performance only.

CROTON FALLS, NY — Westchester’s Schoolhouse Theater will host renowned actor and comedian Robert Klein for a special one-time-only comedy performance at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at its Croton Falls main stage. Following the performance there will be a wine and cheese reception for Klein in the Gallery at the Schoolhouse.
“We are thrilled that Robert Klein is bringing his tremendous talents to The Schoolhouse stage,” Artistic Director Bram Lewis said. “We have wanted to have him headline here for years. We are so looking forward to awarding Mr. Klein his special 'SCHOOLHOUSE' diploma at the reception that follows. Our audiences always enjoy the opportunity to mingle and converse with the artists — especially the comedians. It is going to be a fantastic evening and we expect it to be extremely popular.”
Klein, a lifelong New Yorker and resident of Westchester and New York City, has earned two Grammy Awards, an Obie Award and the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award. He also is a two-time Emmy nominee and a Tony Award nominee. Klein was the first comedian ever to appear in a live performance on HBO. He went on to do nine one-man shows for HBO and received his first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music and Lyrics in 2001 for Robert Klein: “Child in His 50’s.” Mr. Klein later released “Robert Klein: The HBO Specials 1975-2005,” a collector’s DVD box set, to critical acclaim. He is one of the most popular and enduring comedians in America.
