SUGARFEST! 2015 at Westmoreland Sanctaury

Join us for one of Westmoreland’s most popular signature events! Sugarfest! celebrates the sugaring season with programming, demonstrations, and of course our delectable all-you-can-eat Pancake Feast served with 100% New York Maple Syrup. We will have plain, and blueberry pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit and hot and cold beverages. There are two seating times available each day (see times and cost below). Following each seating is our ‘Maple Sugaring Through the Ages’ program. Join us as we take a look at the evolution of making maple syrup. We will explore the harvesting and processing techniques used by the Native Americans and early colonists through present day. We’ll learn how to tap a tree and even test ourselves to see if we can tell the difference between 100% natural vs. imitation syrup.
