UPCOMING: Curious George Live for a Story Time Event in Katonah
Senator Shelley Mayer and PBS sponsor a Story Time event at the Katonah Village Library with Curious George on Wednesday, July 17th
State Senator Shelley Mayer is hosting a special Story Time event at the Katonah Village Library with Curious George live and in person.
The event will take place on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 4:30 PM. Children will have an opportunity to interact with the beloved PBS character and take photos.

Senator Mayer will kick-off her Summer Reading Program with Curious George to encourage students to read over the summer months as a way to combat the summer slide -- reading ability and other academic skills decline in children who don’t spend time reading over the summer months. Research shows that just 20 minutes of reading per day can combat the effects of the summer slide.
The event is sponsored by State Senator Shelley Mayer and PBS with special thanks to the Katonah Village Library.
