Weekend DWI Arrests In Lewisboro, North Salem

State police said they removed 18 impaired drivers from the roads over the weekend.

State police in Troop K charged 18 drivers with impairment over the weekend. Two were in northeast Westchester, and both involved Connecticut residents.

On December 8, State Police from SP Somers arrested Heather A. Burr, 25, of Norwalk, CT, for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 123 in the town of Lewisboro, when she was found sleeping on the highway. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.

On December 9, 2018, State Police from SP Somers arrested Anibal J. Nieves, 50, of New Fairfield, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on June Road in the town of North Salem, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
