Get a jump on the holiday season with Benjamin Niemczyk and the Westchester Oratorio Society on Saturday evening November 19, 2016 at 7 PM, when the group presents Go for Baroque, selections by Handel, Bach, Pergolesi, Vivaldi, Purcell and Charpentier, at the Bedford Presbyterian Church, 44 Village Green (Routes 22 and 172), Bedford, New York.

The concert features the critically acclaimed organist, James Kennerley, and some of the most beautiful and rarely heard choral music of the Baroque period. Mr. Kennerley, a native of the United Kingdom, was Organ Scholar at Jesus College, Cambridge University and later at Saint Paul’s Cathedral, London, where he had several occasions to perform in the presence of HM the Queen. A multi-faceted musician, Kennerley has been hailed as “a great organist” with “phenomenal technique and sheer musicality” by Bloomberg News, and praised as a tenor by New Yorker critic Alex Ross.
