• Woman Sentenced in Fatal Beekmantown Crash (wnbz.com) — A Clinton County woman has been sentenced to up to seven years in prison for a drug-impaired crash that killed a person along Porter Road in Beekmantown and then leaving the scene. The roundup also notes a fatal incident at Ausable Chasm, a new mural in Plattsburgh's industrial park, rabies cases in St. Lawrence County, and a firearm arrest near Plattsburgh.
   

• Clinton County women with animal abuse charges, reappears in court (mynbc5.com) — A former owner of the A Canine Gem animal rescue in Beekmantown is back in court, accused of repeatedly violating probation tied to earlier animal neglect convictions. Prosecutors say she left Clinton County without permission and kept unapproved dogs and cats, while the defense disputes location evidence. She remains jailed and faces re-sentencing on October 15.
